Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent raffle. We appreciate the enthusiasm and support from our community, and we are pleased to share the official list of winners.

Annual Online Raffle Rules

Licensee: The Raffle shall be conducted by the Licensee (Millwoods Minor Hockey Association) pursuant to a license from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, and in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada, Alberta Gaming and Liquor Act and Regulations, AGLC Policy, AGLC Raffle Terms and Conditions, and other rules set forth as follows.

1. Date and Location of Draw(s): Winners will be drawn on December 23,2025, at the
   Millwoods Rec Centre, 7207-28 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
2. Rules: These are the Official Raffle Rules and are available upon request.
3. Minor Children: No tickets shall be sold to a person under the age of 18. All ticket
   sellers will advise ticket purchasers not to write the name of a person under the age of
   eighteen (18) years of age due to the Public Trustees Act.
4. Tickets: The cost of each ticket shall be $50.00 dollars. Sixteen hundred -1600)
   tickets shall be available for sale. Total ticket value shall be $80,000.00
5. No Refunds: All ticket sales are final.
6. The Draw:

• Tickets can be purchased Online Only – through Raffle Box.
• The draw will take place at noon on December 23, 2025, at the Millwoods
  Recreation Centre.
• This draw is open to the public. The Draw shall be conducted as follows:
• One number will be randomly generated.
• The draw will be done live and recorded.
• At least two Executive Members of the Licensee and three members of
  the public who are not members of the Licensee shall be present to
  witness each draw.
• The Draw can be made by any person who does not own a ticket or a
  share of a ticket in the Draw.
• Winning tickets shall be immediately exhibited to the Draw witnesses and
  shown for inspection.
• The licensee shall record the Draw in its entirety on video or electronic
  recording device and on prizes paid out form.
• Each winning ticket shall then be returned to the Draw for opportunity to
  win subsequent prizes.
• The first ticket drawn will be for First prize, the second ticket drawn will be
  for Second prize, the third ticket drawn will be for Third prize, concluding
  with Third Prize.
• No alternatives to the prizes.
• In the unexpected event of a power failure, the draw will be postponed and take place immediately once the power has been restored.

1. Winner Notification: The Raffle Chairperson will notify individual winners using the contact information provided on their ticket stub. Notification shall occur immediately concluding the draw by phone. Winners will have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize by presenting the winning ticket in person to receive their prize. Should any prize remain unclaimed by midnight, March 20, 2026, the Millwoods Hockey Minor Hockey Board of Directors will vote as to allocation of unclaimed prizes and gain approval from Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission prior to expenditure of any unclaimed prizes.

• To claim prize(s):
• Winner must show proof of purchase (ticket).
• Winner is the only person who can collect the prize(s).
• The Prizes: Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions.

1. Prizes to be awarded:

• First prize of $10,000.00
• Second prize NHL Package - value for two NHL regular-season tickets in Canada, hotel for 3 nights /meal voucher - $5000.00
• Third prize of $1,000.00

1. Cancellation: The licensee may rescind, cancel, amend or revoke the Raffle, subject to the prior approval of AGLC. The minimum dollar amount for ticket sales for the association to determine that the raffle must be extended or cancelled with the approval of AGLC is $10,000 and the date of the extension to be filed must be prior to December 7th, 2025. Without limiting this generality, the licensee reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle and/or these official rules, in whole or in part and without notice, if the licensee determines that fraud or technical or other failures have threatened or destroyed the integrity of the raffle.
2. Notice advising ticket purchasers, in the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, the first name appearing on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
3. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. Members of the MWHA Executive Board are not eligible to purchase tickets.
4. These rules are intended to clarify operating policies for this raffle, and do not supersede any document or policy set by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission. In the instance that these rules challenge policy set out by AGLC, then AGLC rules and policy shall take precedence.
5. Procedure for ticket purchase:

• Purchase is done online through Raffle Box.
• Receipt and confirmation of ticket/purchase is provided to the purchaser, and the organizer will have a copy of the purchase order and ticket number on the Raffle box Portal.
• Revenue from ticket sales will be deposited in the Raffle Account.
• Revenue will be deposited into the Raffle Account - once draw has been completed.

Join Millwoods Hockey for an evening packed with waves, waterslides, and team spirit. Dive into the fun as we take over the incredible World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall!

Information:

• Location: West Edmonton Mall - World Waterpark
• Date: Friday, November 7, 2025
• Time: 5:30 - 8:30 PM
• Tickets: $40.00 per person
• No RE-ENTRY permitted
• Further information on ticket availability will be communicated to Team Managers in late September.

Get ready to ride the waves, race down the slides, and soak in the good vibes. This night is sure to make a splash!

This event is all about bringing our hockey community together — on dry land and in the splash zone!

Note:

• No outside food or drinks
• Open to players, family members and friends
• Children 11 & under must be supervised
• Players 11+ can attend unsupervised
• Players 7-10 must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and within arm's reach at all times
• Children under the age of 2 do not require a pass, however the chaperone is required to have a pass.

Let’s celebrate another amazing season, connect with teammates and families, and create unforgettable memories together.
